sistershands-faux work, training and play
Sisterhands annual faux play was held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and was packed with work, education and fun.
Elaine owner of Creative Lane Finishes was the host of this years fauxplay and also provided a project we could all work on together. Elaine’s client wanted something southwestern, so with collaboration with the sisters and client we decided to use Manda Mudd. It is a 3 layer application, and we choose 3 different colors to flow with other rooms decor. We all become certified contractors in Nashville during one of our fauxplay’s.
This was our work for the week……..
Our education for the week…….
Wanting to teach homeowners (diy’ers) that want to know how to refinish their cabinets/furniture, gild, glaze their walls has been something I have wanted to do for sometime now. Just wasn’t ever really sure of when, how and with what products. My professional business Artistry in Faux requires professional training and most products are not available to the public. I do plan on continuing to work with homeowners and designers who need/want my services.
Are you a do it your selfer….then look no farther….this is something you will not want to miss.
The when, how and with what has been answered for me by a great product line through Caromal Colours.
The finishes, whether it be your cabinets, glazing, gilding, or a plaster wall finish it is perfect for women of all skill levels, from the experienced crafter do-it-her-selfer to the woman who may not (think) she knows the difference between a chip brush or a purdy brush….believe me after 1 workshop you will love learning what you can do with Caromal Colours.
I am in the process of putting together several classes for students that have been waiting for me to return home. They are so excited that they can do their own kitchen cabinets , walls and learn how to plaster glaze and gild .
If you want to place an order through Caromal Colours directly, put the code holderr in the comment section and you will receive a discount on your shipping. Once you have placed your order and see that you might need some help give me a call and I will be more than glad to answer any questions you may have.
If you would like to schedule a workshop in your home and invite friends give me a call. If you are a crafter, do-it-yourslefer and love sharing and earning extra money along the way then you may be interested in becoming a part of the Caromal Colour Family. Either way give me a call or email me.
Fun for the week…just being together working, sharing, learning, relaxing with a glass of wine and telling stories…and lovin what you do.
